It’s been getting a little harder being vegan since Thanksgiving, but finding good vegan food makes me love it! I just went to BLD and had their vegan benedict and it was pretty good. (veggie patty, wilted arugula, hollandaise, and potatoes) It was a little different from what I was expecting but very flavorful! but I did really miss their ricotta blueberry pancakes~
A good friend of mine, Jess, from high school actually just came to visit all the way from North Carolina so I took her to BLD hoping she can get some bomb brunch! Too bad she was looking forward to good weather here in socal but it was raining this weekend and slightly gloomy. It was funny because she really thought it was going to be bright and sunny, so she only brought sandals and nothing warm! Jess is actually a proud Marine and veteran, we love you and thank you for serving for our country! I can’t imagine what she’s been through but we will continue to pray for you, your family, and all those who are out there fighting for us~ I LOVE YOU JESS!

Meet Madison~ My one and only niece! She’s a total fashionista. Handmade Bows are a must! along with a coat from gap and tom shoes~ She’s way more hip than me. I was wearing sweat pants and an old school shirt almost everyday the past couple days while finishing those dippin dots paper flowers~ We’re DONE FINALLY!!!

Finally getting the chance to just sit and share some stuff that’s been going on with me and handmadebysarakim. With the wedding season here, I’ve actually had to get some help on those paper flower orders. Luckily, I have a really good friend nearby that was willing to work project by project with me here at handmade! Meet Ham! You must be wondering why I call her “ham”, it’s because she has an awesome last name “Ham”. Her full name is Hannah Ham and she was the painter behind this backdrop from my sister’s baby shower and officially my first partner here at handmade. I LOVE YOU HAM~

I just wanted to thank FinerThingsCo and have a special shout out to Hannah Ham for making the banner and backdrop which was the highlight of the event! Of course, you can’t forget my favorite desserts from Audreys! Thank you lovely ladies for making this event a success!
